Terms of Service

1. Who provides this service

erd.tools (“the service”) is operated by Nianxi Labs (“we”, “us”). By using the service you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have read these terms and our Privacy Policy, and that you have authority to bind any organisation you act for.

2. What the service does

erd.tools converts SQL schema definitions (CREATE TABLE statements, dialect-specific DDL and dump files) into entity-relationship diagrams, rendered instantly in your browser. The service is delivered in full at the moment of use — nothing is shipped, held, or fulfilled later. Diagram generation is provided free of charge up to 50 tables per diagram, without an account.

3. Pro plan, pricing and billing

The optional Pro plan lifts the per-diagram limit to 500 tables and removes the small attribution mark from SVG/PNG exports. Pro is a subscription billed in US dollars: $9 per month or $79 per year. Prices are shown before tax; sales tax / VAT is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.

Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Each renewal is charged to the payment method used at signup, and annual plans renew once per year. You can cancel at any time — see section 4. Pro access is delivered as a signed activation token stored in your browser; no user account is created.

4. Cancellation

Cancel any time using the subscription link in your payment receipt email (our merchant of record’s customer portal) or by emailing support@yizuo.com. Cancellation stops future renewals immediately; Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. No partial-period refunds are issued on cancellation.

5. Refunds

We honour a full refund requested within 14 days of a payment — email support@yizuo.com with the transaction ID from your receipt, no explanation required. Duplicate charges are always refunded in full. Statutory withdrawal rights (for example the EU/UK 14-day right) are preserved where they apply. Refund requests are acknowledged within 2 business days and processed within 5–10.

6. Billing disputes

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at support@yizuo.com before raising a dispute with your bank. We respond within 2 business days and correct confirmed billing errors within 5.

7. Payments and our merchant of record

Payments, tax collection and compliance are handled by Waffo Pancake, our certified merchant of record. Card data is processed exclusively by Waffo Pancake’s PCI-DSS certified infrastructure and never reaches our servers. The charge descriptor on your statement will reference the store you paid through.

8. Your content

You retain all rights to the SQL you paste and the diagrams generated from it. Your SQL is used only to render your diagram: it is not stored, not used to train anything, and share links encode the schema in the URL itself. We claim no licence over your schemas or diagrams beyond what is technically required to render them for you.

9. Acceptable use

Don’t use the service to process content you have no right to use, to attack the service (including automated request flooding of the parsing API), or for any unlawful purpose. We may throttle or block traffic that endangers the service’s availability for others.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. Diagrams are generated automatically and may omit or misrepresent details of unusual schema constructs — verify anything you publish. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, for free-tier use, to zero). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes to the service or these terms

We may improve or discontinue features. If a change materially affects paying customers, we publish a notice on this site at least 14 days before it takes effect, and you may cancel to avoid the change. These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s country of residence; informal resolution by email is always the first step.
